While I haven't lost as much weight as others, I have lost a total of 60-70 lbs from my highest point. I don't actually know what that was because I didn't own a scale.
I can see my feet.
I feel better about myself.
I can cross my legs again.
It's easier to move around.
I've grown back in to clothes that were to small before.
When I fly up north this summer, I won't worry if the seat belt will fit.
I have ankles again. (even if technically, they're cankles.)
I take pictures again so the kids will be able to remember what I looked like.
Unfortunately, my belly did not go away, but it's still smaller than it was.

I still have a long way to go but have come a long way from where I was. This is great because it increases my motivation, which has been lagging recently.

When I had a car, I had to move the car seat up
My feet stopped hurting and my knees feel better
I don't have to guage chairs for sturdiness before sitting
I sleep better because my sleep apnea is gone
I can breathe normally when exercising and walking
I can turn up the thermostat in the summertime and still feel cool
I don't bump into door frames anymore
People treat me more respectfully
I can bend over the sink and wash my hair
I have lots more energy and enjoy life more
I still have a hard time finding clothes and shoes that fit and I pay more for my size (extra fabric, I'm sure)
When I was in the hospital, I no longer had trouble transferring from a gurney to an operating or examining table (a good thing when you're ill).

165 pounds gone (but not forgotten)
- clothes are much cheaper … and a much better selection to chose from
- my knees no longer hurt
- I can fit into booths at restaurants
-I don't worry about breaking chairs
-I can see "things" that were difficult to see before
-I am not fearful of having to take off my shirt
-seatbelts are easier to fasten
-it is much easier to cross my legs
-I no longer snore "to wake the dead"
-I no longer get "that look"
I could do this all day, but most importantly … I feel so much better about myself!

that gives me hope. I have some varicose veins and am working to reduce them too. And yes, I so get the car belly...LOL. Mine is gone too and I can fit comfortably in a car. Love it.
